One of the most prominent events in the Asian community, the Spring Festival Gala at the University of Chicago is hosted by the Chinese Student and Scholars Association. It is held in conjunction with 8 other colleges (Northwestern, IIT, UIC, Loyola, DePaul, SAIC, Columbia College, and Roosevelt), and sponsored by Asian Cultural Center. SoWE was invited to perform at this incredible event, where they played HongYanJiu (红颜旧), a moving composition from the drama Nirvana in Fire.
